Presentation Synopsys
Usually, once we graduate from high school, we don’t return - unless you’re someone who has a desire to offer some “keys to life” for help students to succeed. Going through the teen years is a critical time to build your mind and body, and may literally set the course of your life by opening doors beyond your wildest dreams!
“You see, the photo with Dad, me and my little red Raleigh bike was when times were good and I had just discovered how fun a bicycle was! As the statistics go, most families don’t stay together these days, and so was the case with me. Fast forward 18 years, unexpectedly, mid way through college in 2008, the suicide death of my father taught me that addiction and depression are powerful elements of life, but a healthy mind and a capable body are great starting points to bring you through any dark and challenging times that may come.”
How did Trevor persevere? With the help of his bike and focusing on his passion to become one of the best. The result was slow to come, but it did, as a renewed sense of perspective, honesty, vulnerability and thirst for life once he was able to process that he no longer had a father. He was the man in charge of his life now. After graduating from Sheridan College in Business Finance in 2009, he pursued opening a small business doing his bicycle stunt shows thanks to a $15,000 youth entrepreneur grant to start creating his performance dreams as a young entrepreneur. Travelling to Bicycle Races, Promotional and Corporate events like CES Las Vegas, and companies hired him for promotional campaigns like Sony, Telus, Bell, Microsoft, Blue Mountain Village, Toronto Bicycle Show and more!
How did he discover his Passion? Trial and Error. Before his feet touched the pedals, Trevor was a top Ontario junior Squash player. Then he worked all summer for his uncle’s Catering company to buy his first mountain bike in 1998. Bodogh’s official circus debut happened in 2012 on stage at Canada's Wonderland Toronto in the show “Cirque Imagine”, winning the Brass Ring Award of Excellence. He went on to perform over 800 shows with them for the next 4 years! His passion was simply being on the bike… The combination of a healthy activity, meeting great friends, performing high energy acts was beyond fulfilling!
Anxiety, Depression, and Seizing Opportunity - There’s a healthy connection between the body and mind. With mental health issues soaring like mad within schools and workplaces. If there’s an antidote out there Trevor would like to highlight, it would Preparation of ones self, for any task in life. To take care of the body. You never know what opportunities will arise, should you be in the right place physically and mentally to accept the challenge.
It could change your life!
